The legend

ive obviously looked at some youtube diy videos for creating bonsai since ive started. i think everyone does in this day and age. one name in particular keeps on popping up: graeme potter. ive checked out some blogs with info on him and he seems to be quite an artist, the genuine article and very spiritual about the hobby.

he has a mail order/bonsai specialist company in England: Kaizen Bonsai. go have a look at their website and tell me thats not a path to a successful business, again not forgetting that hes an impressive artist and an expert in his field.

in an interview (check it out: art of bonsai)one can see hes really into understanding plant physiology, the essence of this hobby (more lifestyle for him) and also patience!! this is not a quick pleasure right now. i think this guy really takes his time: in one video i recall he collects the yamadori, gets it into a training pot and leaves it, for 2-3 growing seasons before styling. Discipline!! WOW. but he gets the results!

so hes been at it for 20 years, has multiple awards (ginkgo and noelanders) and a massively popular web bussiness. def watch this space.

i think one just needs a spouse who will put up with having to fight a plant for your time!
